Stochastic Chebyshev Goal Programming Mixed Integer Linear Model for Sustainable Global Production Planning

Production planning is a necessary process that directly affects the efficiency of production systems in most industries. The complexity current problem depends on increased options production, uncertainties demand and resources. In this study, stochastic multi-objective mixed-integer optimization model developed to ensure uncertainty conditions satisfy requirements sustainable development. system ensured through objective functions optimize backorder quantity, machine uptime customer satisfaction. other three proposed are related profits, emissions, employment changing. respectively represent elements development: economy, environment, sociality. also assures manager’s discretion over whether or not adopt such as backorder, overtime, temporary workers. At same time, resource limits above can be adjusted according situation each facility via model’s parameters. solutions compromise determined with Chebyshev goal programming approach together weights goals. applied multinational Southeast Asian supplier textile industry. solution shows an improvement many aspects compared supplier’s manufacturing practices under conditions. Last but least, study develops different scenarios based random distributions between functions. analysis evaluation these provide reference basis for managers adjust situations. Analysis uncertain more complex well making predictions about effectiveness advantages learning considered future studies.
